I searched the forum for this information and did not find it.
I looked at the rollers in my Reaction 150 and found that all had 1 or 2 flat spots. So I might as well get sliders. Question is, if I have 10 gram rollers, what weight sliders should I get? I don't want to go heavier or lighter, want the same weight. Happy with the performance now. I have heard 2 gms heavier and I have heard 2 gms lighter. Depending on you guys for the right answer.

Thanks Buddies,
Frank

Well....you are kinda right. 2 gram heavier will act like 2 grams lighter. HUH? No wait! Or is it....2 gram lighter acts like 2 gram heavier. Just kidding.

As a rule a thumb your 10 grams rollers are equivalent to 8 gram sliders.

So to switch my 9 gram rollers to sliders I would have to find 7 gram sliders? Do they even make them?

I've always read on here that it is the other way around. 10 gram sliders are equivalent to 8 gram rollers. Of course I've no experience with sliders myself, I've always found rollers to work fine.

I called Eric at Mcdonoughmotorsports and he told me I would need 12 gm sliders to replace my 10 gm rollers. He's the man so I ordered some sliders from him.

Mystery solved and yet another question answered.

the sliders help retain some top speed while giving more bottom end power. they also dont wear like rollers do, so they can last longer
