Hello,

I have a Manco 7150 carbide, with a 150cc gy6.

Looking for somewhere to order parts when I need them.

Right now I need the two part numbers below.

14217 sprocket 50p 16T
14218 keeper sprocket

I really want the sprocket above in a 13T but they don't seem to be made so I make my own, but still need the stock one to cut down and weld a sprocket from tractor supply to the splined hub of the stock one.

I changed the tires to 22x10x10 and the gearing is still off.

I already made one sprocket from the stock 16T, changed it to 14T, it works better but I still need to go down one more tooth to a 13T. instead of trying to cut the 14T I made apart, new parts are needed.

I know I could change the big sprocket, but I already moved the sprocket guard closer to the sprocket for more ground clearance and like it that way.

Gy6 questions..
I notice there are alot of performance parts for the gy6, but how do I know if they fit mine? I have looked, and online stores say fits "most" gy6, are there numbers on the motor or something?

Thanks Wayne

i don't know what to tell you on the sprockets.
on your engine the cvt cover side, below it there should be some numbers stamped on your engine block.
i went to mancopowersports to look at what you had and if it has the engine like i think and is like the engine in the one tractor supply sells you should be able to do some mods to it
like rollers ,torque spring, rejet, unifilter and exhaust.
i don't know about the internals and i think i heard some of the others say the cdi is different.maybe some one esle can confirm this for you.
hope that helps some and pictures are always nice to see what you are wanting to do.

If your kart has the external reverse gearbox you probably won't be able to go smaller than the 16T sprocket. If not then try buggydepot.com for the 13t sprocket. Another alternative is changing the internal gearing in the transmission. I did this on my Twister and it is a pretty easy swap.

Before you change the gearing though you'll want to change the rollers in the CVT to 9 or 10 grams and install the 1500 torque spring on the clutch side. This will improve the low end a lot and will let you retain your top end speed. If you still need more after those mods then look into changing the gearing.

Jamie
