I am just finishing up putting the Spyder 250 together, and I have a question. Should the front tires have a significant positive camber? Just eyeballing it, I would say mine have about a 7-10 degree positive camber, and I can't see any way of adjusting the camber on this Kart.

There is also a slight toe-in on the front, but I assume a little bit is normal, and I can see how to adjust the toe-in.

I can post pics if needed.

Unless you have Heim joints, like CKau, there is no way to adjust camber. A little toe in will help your steering response at higher speeds.

Does it matter a whole lot which way the tire treads go? I guess I could at least rotate the tires back and forth to even the wear.

As long as the front tread is symmetric between right and left you are fine. In the back, it will affect traction.

Thanks for the input. The tires do have symmetrical treads. I hadn't even considered that. Likely the wear issue won't even be a major deal, I'll probably be ready for new tires when these wear down anyway Smile
