I believe it would well over 40,if done up correctly the thing to remember is the larger bore will give more power and torque, you will deffinately notice the power, porting and polishing the head along with the correct cam will also do wonders. My stock engine tweeked and with a 39 tooth gear does 44mph so if done right the big bore with other tweeks should get you somewhere close to 50mph.I know of one gentleman who put the big bore in his friends cart and had a custom cam ground for the motor along with head work and it exceeds 50 mph.So it all depends on how much work you put into it ,but one thing for certain is you will deffinately notice more power from the big bore kit, along with torque for climbing. _________________ GUNNUT

Sycarms, do you know what a realistic buget is for what you described? The numbers your giving is what I have in mind. Although it would be rare to do 45mph where I ride, I don't like running at 80% at 27mph, compared to 66% at 30mph.
I noticed it said BUGGY DEALER do you carry the big bore kit? If so pm me with the price. _________________ 07 Sand Viper, Uni w/145,Hit CL,Predator Shocks,Wht tq Spg, HP CL,HP CDI,

I added a 170 cc big bore kit to my blade and it has so much more torque it's unbelievable. I am sorry to say that I have no top speed results due to the fact that I am not allowed to drive on roads. As to the 170 smoking a 250.... the 170 has a stroker crank and a 4-valve head and yes it does smoke the 250 that has been port and polished. Allbones is the lucky fellow to own that buggy.
well I bought mine from Stu at Bladepowersports for 160. I forgot what the machining work cost us... I want to say around 50, but that will vary depending on where you take it to.
