Sorry Embarassed Your float bowl level set as high as possible ?(w/out too much overflow on slight up hill/down hill terrain), at min. fuel shuts off when floats R level w/base of carb.

Yes sorry Gettinmud, didn't mean to highjack your thread.

I don't have any problems with my stock fuel pump.
It keeps up with demand very well.

Which Mikuni pump did you use? The 14 ltr/min. or the 20 ltr/min. or some other? What size fuel hose does it take? Do you have a partnumber for it?

I'm planning on a 34 or 36 mm flatslide pumper carb for my GTR.
So the stock fuel pump most likely has to be replaced.
I might as well go for one that has been tested on a GTR.

hey no biggy, as with most forums, the topic tends to drift,

i used a mikuni- df44-211-d(14 liters), i did have to make a mount for it, 2x2x.125 alum angle, it only took a few minutes to swap out, using the stock fuel lines.

i am able to order and sell one, and sent ups, for 26.00 each.

I thought you used that one. That's why I asked for the part nr.
Price is OK. But I'm located in Europe... you might find sending one almost as costly as the pump itself.

wow, well, i am sure you should be able to find one in your country, lol. its well worth it...

last night i shimmed the clutch 5/16", what a cool and cheap mod. to do, it acts like is a little bit smoother now, and more in its correct range. well worth it. i was able to do it in less than 20 min.

Yes shimming works really well. You can feel the difference
Easy and cheap way to fine tune your torque spring.
I'm surprised not more people are doing it.
