Hello Randy!

I replaced the starter and it fired up. Very Happy Waiting on a longer steering rack. The tabs I added to the shorter one just wont work. It should be here any day now.

Haven't seen this tread for a while. How does it drive besides the bump steer. I just used a steering damper and it eliminated the bump steer and allowed it to be limited.

Orange and black side panels. Very Happy

I fixed the bump steer problem and I got the new rack, I just haven't had time to put it in. I'll get there soon...

Mine was as simple as moving the tie rod out further. The steering rack, where the tie rod connects, has to be even with the pivot point on the a-arms. That fixed my problem.

Finally had time to get working on the buggy. I put in the new rack and was able to test it a little. I had to play around with the clutch, variator, and rollers and ended up using the stock clutch with a 2000 spring, 16 gram sliders and I am not sure which variator I have in there right now. Sweet set up for it.

I can't get the rear brakes working for the life of me. I have a bleeder pump that I hook up to the rear caliper and it seems to be working but it isn't. Front brakes work fine and when I pull on the e-brake lever it works fine also. I had it working when I first installed them but now, nothing.

I also need a new carb for it. Can anyone do better than the ones I see on ebay. I see them for $40 but I am a little leery of them.
