250cc red plug what/where

hey guys there is a red plug that comes off the carb is it to plug gauges into? it has to green wires going in to it my harness has no extra plugs to plug into it

Thats for your fuel enrichment valve ( choke ) that red
plug mates up to a white 2 prong plug, unless
somebody chopped it off. If it's starting good, don't
worry about it.

ok sounds good it lookes like the water thermostat goes into it could i buy a plug and use it to set my self up with a gauge
