Hi All,

Thank you all for help getting my buggy running again from your previous responses to my earlier post. And "here I am again". I need help!

Me and my seven year old son were spinning some donuts and drifting in the buggy then the rear wheels just suddenly stopped turning. From then on I cannot shift into forward or reverse. The engine start and runs great.

I can see the clutch cable move the lever on the transmission housing or what ever you call it. And I took fly wheel cover off and they belt on CVT is tight and your can see it turn when engine running. The Bloody thing just wont go into gear. Do you all have any suggestions/SOLUTIONS on how I can fix this??? Thanks.

After reading another post i realize that my driveshaft which goes from CVT to Forward/Reverse Gearbox, (if this is correct way to describe it), is not broken. I can turn coupler on drive shaft with my hand. Is the Coupler on Drive Shaft supposed to be able to move freely back and forth on Drive Shaft? It really seems like somthing isn't engaging. "Can the Clutch unit (with the spring) in the CVT unit "be stuck" or something?

Or is my problem in my Forward/Reverse Gearbox?

What is the proccess you all do when troubleshooting this type of issue? Look in Gearbox first or CVT Clutch unit first???? Thanks for all your help good people.

I have included a video of the kind jumping I do. I will take CVT Cover off and see if Clutch has any issues. If anybody else has any suggestions I am all ears.Peace...

Behind your clutch is the final transmission that connects to your F-N-R gears. I think you either have a problem in these gears or final transmission. A visual inspection will most likely reveal this upon disassembly.

So does this mean i should remove the bell housing to see these gears? Are these gears possibly stripped or destroyed???

To get to the final drive you have to romve the CVT cover and clutch assembly. Behind the assembly is an access plate (drain your transmission fluid first).

The F-N-R gears are accessed from outside the CVT/engine case. If you have chain drive, you will remove the engine sprocket and housing that has your shifter cable attached. I haven't seen enough shaft driven units to give you disassembly advice...
