I'm sorry to bring you the bad news here but...
...those are both the wrong size (and weight too).
The ones you got are for a CN250 engine.

You need the 25 x 22,2mm ones.
Part No. : SR2522 (for the sliders)

On weight... Stock rollers are 18grs.
I have 18grs sliders in my GTR250
compared they behave like 16grs rollers.

You're just running into the same BS as I did
when I started tuning my GTR. Glad to help.

BigE,

My GTR, has a 6 roller TGB. Gocartus' one is 6 roller too.
A friend of mine (who has 2 2008 GTR's) has 6 roller variators also.
The parts manual lists the 6 roller. Seems to be the norm.

But I know there is an 8 roller TGB variator that fit's this SYM engine. Maybe they fitted them to a batch of engines.
In China anything is possible...

I cant beleave the misinformation importers give the dealers.Jackster you should make a video on gtr mods and part # and sell on ebay or net.All the wasted time and money (have to eat 1 set sliders) i would of gladly paid 20-50 buck for a dvd it would of saved alot of b.s .I paid 13.00 on ebay for a dvd on hopping up a childs power wheel elec ride on jeep.So get your video camera out and get going.

Ouch... I know they're quite expensive in the US.

But you're right Gocartus, the dealers mostly get stuck in between. I don't blame them... I don't expect them to know every part on every kart available.

I just got fed up with this...
(patience not being one of my strong points)

So I got out my toolkit... marking gauge and my laptop...
and did the research myself.

That video may actually be a good idea... Wink
One of my clients has a small TV studio so...
getting access to the right equipment won't be a problem.
Who knows it might happen...
