If you meen your going to do a swap with another power plant let me know what you want for your broken engine.

Later WiC.

Today I bought a B16A Honda V-Tec. Rated 160HP. I am gonna see if I can make her fit and I am going to keep the old motor just in case the honda doesnt work out. If the swap is successful I will get back with ya.

Ya and 130 pounds of tork, that could be a fun ride , weight is the big issue.
It will definantly change the drivability with an extra 250+ pounds in the rear .
Hope it works out , let me know on the dead engine.

Later W.C.

I dont think there is going to be a 250lb difference. I weighed my transmission with clutch came in approx. 75lbs. wet, Motor weighed 178lbs wet.

New trans. 89 lbs and the lsd is suppose to add another 10lbs. Motor with only alternator 275lbs using header and can shave another 10lbs with aftermarket intake. I expect total to be close 370lbs. vs the 250lbs chery setup. Difference of 125lbs. I may try to relocate fuel tank, fuel pump and regulator. Also remove some additional weight off of rear from the taillight assembly, rear spoiler and additional engine mods.
