There is a guy on here, I think he goes by red450yfz, or something like that. He had his turboed. He was parked next to us at the last rally, and took me for a ride in it. Pretty Kewl
It was a little large for Paddy Creek, but a blast to ride and really soaked up the terrain.
I believe he is in the military and may be oversea's because we have not heard much from him lately, but he checks in everynow and then.

I have a 1600cc joyner sand viper 2 seater. its a fun buggy for the price but i ride it at the dunes and it cant make it up the big dunes. its stock right now but i am thinking of getting an rjs supercharger for it. then hopefully i will be happy with it. if not i am going to get one of the hayabusa buggies. twice the power and half the weight!
I have a 1600 Joyner Sand Viper. As Chris said it is big for trail riding but a blast when you have open sand/dessert. With the turbo I have the power to make it up the big hills at Glamis, Comp was easy, Olds= 50mph in second gear. To this day everyone I give a ride is impressed, especially when I tell them how much I paid. No it doesn't have the power to weight ratio of a Hayabusa powered car, it doesn't have the size or price tag either. As far as the quality of constuction, it's good, may be a little over built. It is on the heavy side, but does feel very solid and safe. In the sand the fastest I have seen is about 83mph. If you stay on hard pack it has plenty of power to be fun. I put a video from the sand drags at the dunes, I think it's called 1600 Turbo. I have about a week left before deployment, I can't wait to get back for the next dune season.

Yes mine is all stock, Have not been to the dunes yet! But going in May. ( If i can get it fix first ) We went to Kansas Badlands last week-end
and took a jump tooooo Fast and landed a little hard and bent
both rear rocker arms!! Tryed to e-mail & call Joyner to find
replacements but they have not gotten back yet, I think i will
find a good welder here and have some custom made. _________________ Joyner 1600 4 seater

Are you talking about the trailing arms getting bent? Do you have the boxed trailing arms? I don't know when Joyner changed the arms but mine are partially boxed, the top and outside. My car is an 07 I got in June 07. If you get replacement arms make sure you get the boxed arms or have them boxed before use.

Mine is a 2006 and the trailing arms are not boxed, I bought mine last Nov 07 off e-bay and i think the trailing arms were
bent when i got it. I wish i knew then what i know now i would have had them boxed before i took it out of my driveway!!
Surely you can get them straitened and boxed locally, I have done a ton of 800 arms that were bent pretty bad.
