Let me reword that.Can someone tell me which shocks work very well to excellent.Without breaking the bank!When we all know theres highend parts with big asking prices! I am like most out there.Who ether spend wisely or have to at times when there isnt extra cash laying around.So Im wanting to upgrade my entire buggy! Only its getting done! With alot of hard work and sweat.Alot of thought and more research.And my GOD! Just alot of all welding and cutting ,grinding and more! When my dune 150 was cute and fun.For a short while.When I spent my life in or on top of all real fast toys!From big bore race bikes to big block v-drive boats.And speedski racing behind those real fast boats.So anything that cant hit 70mph.Just isnt all to damned exciting and when like these.Then by god enough power to pitch it sideways and stand on it!For the only way to hit fast turns and power on through them like any sprint car.So the engines here and next comes a whole new swing arm, that was just designed last nite.To add another 6-8 inch in overal wheelbase.And allow the engine to mount up as far forward.But leaving just enough room.To work the new fabricated fat tunned pipes to come up and out the back.And a literal firewall.Between it and us,more of a heat shield.With one air vent and afew nice air scoops.Off to the sides and one larger at top.In figuring all of that.The shocks became another real issue, for what was an easy fix.Simply move them off to both sides of the new swing arm.From like mid point then laying the shocks down!Like my CZ had in the mid seventys.To handle outstanding!Only these will angle out some.Up two small shock hoops.And the combo of long travel semi firm shocks plus longer arm with the engine literly just forward of the axle.And above a 5 gallon summitracing offroad fuel cell.Along with taller and more narrow tires! That all I do know for a solid fact.Tire spin will be drasticly cut down!Even running a big 400 twin two stroke with a six speed.And mikuni carbs in two 26mm she will still spin no doubt but not to the point like many we do see.Mine will be hooking it up and gettin on fast down the road!So which shocks out there are 18 to 20 inch eye to eye and a damned good unit.Like from a atv? When Ive got plenty enough expense without getting all nuts.What about disc brakes? Anyone onto a good setup?I wanted to go wilwood and in a dual piston caliber with small rotors.In order to run two and in the rear.Tucked away from all fast incoming unlike dunes worse ideas for almost everything really!The shocks are more like ROCKS! And check out the tie rods for crap like movement ether up or down!To anything really.When sure the brakes seem to work well.BUT they wont work for long!When the chinese are world famous for fecal matter brakes and parts in general.CHEAP and you do get exactly what you paid for from china unlike nothing from japan.Frankly these buggys were a major break through for them! Hows that for scary and all so true!The only place and thing Ive seen and was impressed by.Was only but in all there engines!I dont care what one when Ive looked inside and all over afew.To say wow and good job.Now if they only will put a real engine into one of these! When it is exactly like this!NO one will get anything at all.For a long lived or good gas mileaged machine.Running the hell out of a small 150 and yes 250cc four stroke engine.When any two stroke will run quickly around to over ether.And a 250cc two stroke will get a work out pushing anyone of these big four wheeled all heavy STEEL hogs anywhere!Only when water cooled does any smaller engine have a real chance!And my 400 with six speeds Im concerned for!And why its air cooled.So what till anyone sees what Im doing for that.OK anyone know who to contact.About a good universial electronic ignition.ONLY for a twin! 400 two stroke.Yeah,thats right!And dont even think to joke about what wont be anything to joke about!When all fast snowmobles run at least a twin some triples!WHY? Easy they put out alot of power and run fast for along long time.I owned two yamahas.A 440 and a 540.Both ran air cooled engines.And both got the dog snot ran out of them anytime I was on there back.I run them basicly wide open for miles at a full seventy plus running down snow coverd dirt roads and even paved with ice and snow.Theres nothing like it!But a fast quad period.When you hang off the back side at full throtle in the turns!And put the hammer down!And there still wasnt enough power.But then Im not at all like most people.That one ride on or in anything I owned told the story real quickly.And I wasnt trying to scare anyone really.IT was simply a speed I became very used to thats all.And why not once did anyone ever get hurt period.Only alittle white.LOL _________________ Nothing better than a long dust trail behind you after a fast fun day offroading!
