I'll let some one else call the location, I've only been into buggy riding for about 8 months now. My prior love was 4x4ing out in Calorado up until 2002 then I moved back here to MI and decided last year the wife and I needed to have some fun.

Tin Cup late April/early May time frame? Trails there should be OK for any size buggy and from my memory it looks like it wouldn't get too muddy in spring.

How you doing?? Camped next to you at Paddies last year. Still struggling with some health issues. Retired in Nov.
See 2 RZR's, wow. I want to try and make this gathering. Questions: Room for my RV????? What is a ORV??? Where to get??
Thanks, and hopefully this works out. Still have the 2 150's, got a 250 for the 3rd buggie so 3 can ride. Then, I got the joyner 650. Getting back so I can work on them. Any noise and spark arrestor requirements?
Later
Jim

Hi Jim!
I think the parking lot is pretty big but whether your big rig will fit depends on how many other rigs get there first. The required $16.25 ORV sticker can be bought just about anywhere that sells sporting goods, hunting/fishing licenses or powersports stuff. Kmart, Walmart included. I'm not sure if there are daily passes, though. ORV passes are good til the end of Mar. '09.
As this is on state land you'll also need a Michigan State Parks vehicle permit. Daily permits are $8 for non-residents and can be bought at any MI state park. If you don't find the ranger around I believe--but don't hold me to this--that if you are later "ticketed" in the parking lot, the ticket is the permit fee. Send in the payment and you're clear. Can someone verify this?

Hey sorry for chimming in late, I'm good for the weekends of 25-27 April and 9-11 May. I don't think there is a campground close to Tin Cup I do know there is a State camp ground on the Manistee/Linclon trails (about 15 Miles away) these trails are also good for any size vehicles. Tin Cup is about 22 miles long and Manistee/Linclon are around 66 miles long. I'm going up there on Monday the 10th so I'll try and get some more info for everyone, i.e. Campgrounds, motels/cabins, Park fees and passes. I know where the Rangers Office is located off M-37, if you need anymore information let me know and I'll try to get the answers.

Jerry

Thanks for the help Jerry. Little Manistee & Lincoln Hills would work. They are composed of several smaller loops so nobody should be scared off by the 66 miles thing Wink

Yeh Guy, and if people with the narrower buggies want to get wild Little O is just accross M-37. I've got family in Baldwin so I should be able to track down anything that's needed.

Hello!
I am fresh to the site here and excited to see others from this wonderful state are enjoying these Buggies. I live in Perrinton, MI and have only been able to hit the trails once since I have owned these TITAN II's. I have worked most of the bugs out of them and would love to bring my wife up to this spring run up by TIN CUP SPRING. I checked the trail maps and google terrain mapping, and these trails look like a blast! My name is Nick and would love to join you for the excursion.
I have saturday-sunday everyweekend open as long as I am not racing my RC cars (which I would gladly cancel those plans for these ones). Nice to meet everyone and maybe you can help me spark some life into this secondary hobby for my wife and I.

Hope to see you around!
Nick
