I paid $1600 for my 8(6'4")x16 dual axle with ramp gate and spare tire and mount, that price included tax and license fees.
Nothing like buying new with a nationwide warranty
Single axle 8x16 w/o ramp gate or spare were $950
Dual axle 8x16 w/o ramp gate or spare were $1075 _________________ Stock GK25A
OK I couldn't let Jabo have all the fun. Today I picked up my new Teske mfg 6.5x12 ATV trailer. It rocks. It's nearly identical to the one Jabo bought. The inside width is actually closer to 84" where the side gate is so a quad would fit on there. It seemed to pull fine coming home. I think I'll be able to mount my old truck tool box on the front so I can keep straps, lug wrench, and other tools locked in there. It was $1300 and I felt like it was a pretty decent deal.
I didn't have time to take pics today, but will do so once the tool box is installed. I think I have my 5x8 sold to my bro-in-law for $500, so that oughta offset some of my cost.
Rock on. _________________ Ron

Be careful where you mount the truck tool box. You need to make sure that it doesn't interfere with your turning radius. We've ran into that issue with our air emissions testing trailers that we build for clients.
They has for a front mounted box and then complain after we let them know that the turning radius has been decreased. That's why we know charge a lot extra for a front mounted tool box. We have to to increase the trailer length.
Sounds like a good find.
Where did you get your trailer from? _________________ Chris Dierkens

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. It's one of those black molded plastic kind and it's less that the width of a full size truck bed. I haven't measured it, but I'd say it's about 3.5-4 feet wide. It should be ok.
I got it from a place called Farm and Fleet. I believe they're only in the midwest. Here's a link...
