Hey all, New here and new to Go-Carting. Since I was a kid I have always wanted a Go-Cart but "They are not safe" said my mom haha. Now that I am grown and have a family of my own I picked one up pretty cheep but it needs a little work.
I have no Idea where to start or get info from. I typed in Go-Carts and Murry and this forum popped up.
I bought the cart not knowing anything about it. The gentleman I bought it from said it needs a new sprocket because it is warped and the chain will not stay on. (I have not tried it). Just got it home yesterday late so did not want to wake the neighbors.
The engine fires up the first time but he told me that I have to continue pressing the prime push button for about minuet to keep it running. Any Advice?
This is what I know (from the sticker on the cart.)
It is a Murray Model Number GT60703x92A
MFG Date 01034
It has a 6.5 hp Tecumseh power sport engine
I have also seen that Murry has discontinued this product and is not making parts for it, so does anyone know what kind of aftermarket sprockets I can use. Like I said I have no idea where to start. What size sprocket or what material?
Also the springs seem to be bent so I will need to replace that also.
Maybe get ahold of somebody on Go Karts R Us, or
Google Murray GT60703X92a and see what shows up... _________________ 05 Blade SX-550 Suzuki
