gy6 spark plug wire and cap

hey can you guys tell me what size the plug wire is on a gy6,
with the stock coil setup? need a better plug cap
i had went with a bigger jet this afternoon had it all back together and it was setting and idling and all of a sudden it just shut down like you turn the switch off,tried starting it no go.
after looking into it here the plug wire the part that snaps down on the plug came unscrewed and the clip inside of it was also broke to.i had another new coil and unscrewed the plug end off and put it on but the clip in it down seem that good either it don't take much to knock it off plus it can't be making that good of connection.

Hey Pud, you should mod your ignition a bit by installing the higher voltage coil and racing plug wire combo. Its a nice looking mod and fairly inexpensive. Wink

yeh thanks Team913 i will probably get one the hotter coils in the spring. my coil is mounted in the electric box,while i was in it yesterday i untangled the mess of wire so i could get to the coil wires.the stingy ba$tards Laughing

they didn't leave much slack
in those wires,so i wll probably have to lenghten them and make a bracket to mount the hotter coil with the shorter plug wire.
i found some ngk plug caps that i think are made better.
also took a paper clip and made a new clip in the plug holder part put it all back together and seems to be working good for now.a poor boy has poor ways Very Happy

i lucked out and was cruising ebay and found a performance intake for $24.95 and got it.
it was a tight fit but it is on and hopefully no more air leaks there,knock on wood.
i have now got 6......1/2 inch holes drill in the end of my muffler it sounds cool and not to loud.i lost a little bottom end
but now running a 38 pilot jet and a 125 main jet,seems like its going to run good there.
