You guys have convinced me to with the Maxxis Bighorn Radials for the front. I will be running 27x9R12 while keeping the stock 25x10-12 tires on the rear. They are one of the pricier tires I was comparing, so I hope they hold up. If you cannot find the Maxxis tires locally, 4atvtires.com seems to have the best price ($110) since they include shipping on all orders over $200. My local Les Schwab Tire Center can order them for $104 and mounts them for free. WA sales tax adds to the cost, but not as much as mounting.

Anyone interested in one almost new 25x8-12 stock Joyner tire with only 120 miles can contact me.

Sounds like a good plan for your tire setup. Let us know how it ends up working out.

I had a heck of a time finding a place that would mount my small tires for a fair price. Some place wanted $15/tire. I was shocked until I called another place and he quoted me $25/tire.

I put the Mudlites on myself and then had my nephew put the fronts on at the car dealership he works at.

recap on that, the fronts are 26 with 3-5psi, and the rears are 27. You will get 27 in front with your size expected.

Americas tire or Discount tire here local for me does $6 per tire or 4 for $20.

Well mixed news on the tires. I thought the tire store had ordered my tires and they thought I was going to stop in to confirm everything, so the tires were never ordered.

I went in the garage and poked around at the flat tire and decided to put air in it. The tire didn't leak out of the chunk of missing side wall. Whatever I hit must have gouged the tire and broke the bead enough to lose some pressure. I will check pressure tomorrow and put a tapered vulcanizing patch over the gouge if the pressure holds at 25 psi for 24 hours. Otherwise I will go back in the store and get those tires on order...

I have ordered from 4atvtires.com twice. They have given me excellent service. Received both sets of tires in under 3 days, standard shipping. Great guys there, they will gladly take time with you to find what you want. I've gone with Interco Swamp Lites both times. Haven't heard any mention on this sight. The rear tire sizes are heavier than MudLites (I think because of more lugs) but give exceptional traction. The only complaint I have so far is they may have to much traction. Sometimes when climbing hills, I can't get the rear tires to break loose to stay in the power band. But then again, I haven't got my shoes dirty pushing a buggy out of a mudhole.

The Swamp Lites and MudLites are too aggressive for sand and will dig from the input I received from others. I need something that can do sand 25-33%, mud 25%, and hard pack the remaining time.

4atvtires.com has been recommended numerous times. If it wasn't for the free mounting service at Les Schwab, I would have ordered from them.
