It's obvious that 550 has way to much power for that buggy. As a public service I will take it off your hands and put it to good use.
Simply pull it out, crate it up and send it off to me! Looks like a great place to play, wish it was close by! All this buggy stuff is givin me spring fever.

WHAT?
I got a 550 in my 84' FL250!
It was a joke.

How has it been working for you Wayneh? Everything up to par? Where in Commington are you? Do you have any good trails up that way? _________________ Custom Buggy http://www.buggynews.com/topic13417.html

Hey Wayneh. You live in cummington ma. Thats cool I have some friends that live there they ride all the time. It is pretty rural out there I will ask them were they ride and get back to you. I went with them once a couple of years ago on a ride we went down to this swamp area and there were trails all ove the place. what about savouy, do you have a trailer? They have camping and trail riding there.
Hi guys,
Jabo, with all the snow I haven't been able to do much testing lately. I did regear the buggy and I think we're closer to what we want. I'm having a bit of a tough time with the jetting but I think once I can get the buggy out on solid ground I'll be able to dial it in (after $50 worth of jets!) Finding riding space is a bit of a problem. Used to be a lot of trails around but the DCR has been cracking down lately. I need to look into getting it inspected and registered this year.
Leroy, it would be great to find a few more riding areas. I do have a trailer (need to make a few mods to fit the buggy). As for Savoy, if you mean the state forest they closed that to offroad vehicles a year or so ago.

Jabo,
I have ridden a number of these spots with my quad. Pittsfield is a bit narrow and rough in places for a buggy of my size. October Mt. varies from really rocky and challenging on a quad (never do it in a 2 wheel drive buggy). There are a few sections that are old roads and a gravel pit type area that would be a fun playground for a a buggy. Havn't been to Beartown or Tolland yet.
What we need around here is a nice offroad CORR type track to play on! Wish I owned some land.
