Thanks for the info. A lot of great ideas there. John here is a photo of the engine and trans for you. So far it's proven to work pretty well and it's awesome to finally have reverse. Never knew how much I'd use it until I added it. Here's a couple of pics of the buggy I took today. It was cold enough to refreeze the snow in the back feld that the snowmobilers had packed down pretty good
so I had a chance to do a little playin around. Hope you enjoy these.

Looks great. You did pretty much the same thing i did to attach the sprocket to the transmission. that rear suspension looks great.
Any chain tension problems?
If you go to advanced auto parts they have the black or chrome rubber stuff you put on the outside of a car door to prevent chips, it works great for the outside of the diamond plate, gives it a nice finish and keeps it from cutting you.

Hey guys, almost felt like spring today. Can't wait. Wow Team913 seal of approval...were do I get my sticker! Jabo, it went well in the field. It's a pretty steep hill and I was able to go up in 3rd gear ...not bad considering it was spinning all the way and when you break through the crust it's as bad or worse than mud! I think I might still go a a few teeth on the axle sprocket. It's an 18 now probably 22 or 24 will be just about right. Still have to do some jetting on the carbs. One or two sizes up should be just about right. I went from 115s to 120s on the mains and it's still lean on top. John, thanks for the kind words, here's a couple more pics for you.
newbuggier, great idea. I'll have to check out Autozone! Nice buggy you built! The 500EX looks like the perfect motor, compact.

I know what you mean about getting the jets
right, I have a GS550 on my Blade, I ended up going
with 130's to get it right. Now that is in the summer,
in the colder weather, ( winter time ) it sputters some.
But I don't ride much in the winter , so I leave it as is.
Once again Wayne..... Nice buggy.

Well I added some sides to the front end. Helps keep the debris from the front wheels from filling up the floorboards! Here's a few shots with the new panels and some flyin snow! New jets are on the way. Eggyhead, that 550 must be awesome in a buggy. Is that a twin or a four cylinder?
