I am 1k miles away, and I think TH is 1300, and jabo must be lookin at 1400 miles easy... I know it is a 4 hour ride for me to get to boston from my house.... Around 350 miles 1 way.... I dont know exactly where TH is in CT, but I know he has a heck of a ride, because on a good day, for me to get to tranquility CT or Grotten (Naval base), it took 3 hours!!! So, those poor guys got it bad!!!

I'm planing on leaving Wednesday, setting up camp on Thursday and coming back Monday morning. This may all change as I've got some work in Newark Arkansas for that same period that will require the company to deliver some equipment. As such I may have to drop off some stuff in AR first. Newark, AR is 235 miles/4 hours from SJSP so it's "on the way."
There's already a method for direct donations to get to the Hopkins family. If anyone has any questions they can do a search on here or you can always contact Jabo (Jamie) via PM. He has been spearheading those efforts.

She does trust me, its the truck that she doesn't trust. My dad didn't take care of it that well, and it is fine but she doesn't want me getting stranded, and I get my license on May 3 so its the new driver thing.
But the truck runs good so now its gas money lol

I have a suggestion and this is just food for thought.
Steve Hopkins has done a great thing for the buggy world!
Sue, his wife, I'm sure, was devastated at their loss.
Although I wholeheartedly agree with the Hopkins foundation, I think we may better serve Steve's family if we make the check to a particular center in their name. In that situation, I for one would really appreciate all the "love" but I would also want to move on as well, (if it were me).
I am sure Jamie can put these donations in their name without constantly reminding them of their loss.
