There will not be any cost incurred in making the plaque. My business is a sign business and the plaque would be made as a donation. As far as donating money, I think any money made for the Hopkins family should be made specifically for the kids. Like a trust fund or something. Buggy Fund Raising Marathon
I wonder how many of us could get people to sponsor us for riding a buggy the entire time. Let's say we asked people to donate a $0.10/hour of riding. I'll be riding at last 3 Days * 8 Hours / Day * $0.10/hour * 10 sponsers = $24.
It doesn't sound like much but if we had 40 riders, then that $24 * 40 riders = $960.
We could then take this money and award it to the Hopkins family every year.
Just a thought....

How about some kind of competition at your bash.
You could have some kind of trophy cup for best
overall winner. Kinda like a hare scrambles or
enduro event. The cup with Steve's name on it
could be awarded and each year there after the
cup would be handed down to the new winner.
To bad you guys are all on the east coast I'd love
to attend.
Anyway just a thought.
