Trying to get some feedback on the Titan 250cc that www.awesomebuggy.com sells. Has anybody bought anything from them before? How good are they? Any info greatly appreciated!! _________________ N.E. "GANG" MEMBER...
Off the injured list, still trying to find a buggy.

They look good. I don't know if you'd be satisfied with a 250cc buggy though. I'd save up and get a 400cc buggy or get a used 250cc for now and then save for the 400cc. _________________ Chris Dierkens

TH, chances are that I wouldn't be overjoyed about having a 250 under normal circumstances. I looked at this one in particular because awesome buggies says that a larger person can fit in it comfortably. My scope of what I want/what I need has severely changed since the last time I rode with everyone in MAY of 2007. And with the number of hop ups coming out for 250's it just may not be that bad at all. Plus, finding a used 250 is very hard let alone trying to find one that I can use with the problems. As per the 400cc buggy, it doesn't look like anyone has perfected one yet. Maybe I am wrong but I really have not seen anyone giving rave reviews about them. I might just save up and get a Joyner 650cc, but then again trying to find a local dealer for one. _________________ N.E. "GANG" MEMBER...

I bought a Titan II from Awesome Buggies in December 2005 and have had a blast with it. You'll have a lot of little things to fix but for me that's part of the fun. Check my early posts - the Titan has been some of the most fun per buck spent that I have ever had. My Joyner 1100 is a killer, but I still enjoy thrashing around in the Titan every once in a while. _________________ Titan II, FMF pipe, 15gr sliders, 140 jet, 35 tooth sprockets, sand tires

I bought a Titan Plus from Awesome Buggy last December. I am very pleased with the buggy but I would love to have more power. The size of the buggy is perfect for two large adults I just wish it had a bigger motor. I agree you will have a ton of little things to fix as soon as you get it. You will also have a lot of things break. We went several times and was back home within a few hours because we broke something. Sometimes it was my fault, but most it was a factory defect. Awesome Buggy was ok to deal with, they never really disappointed me in warranty swaps but they tend to be a little disorganized at times and can have an attitude. I think they have grown at a faster rate than they anticipated. If I had it all to do over I think I would have went with a Joyner 650 just to have the speed. My Titan will do about 25 MPH on average with all the mods. Put it on a road with a small hill and you crawl up. I test drove a 650 and when I switched from first to second I was running over 30 MPH. The problem is you can by two almost three Titans for one Joyner. I have spent countless hours working and piddling on my buggies. This site is the best source of information I have found. If you do buy one let me know and I can tell you all I have done to mine for improvements. _________________ 250 Titan Plus
