How far do you tow your buggies flat???? how fast can you go???
John |
Keeping the speed at 30 MPH or less and under 10 miles will allow you tow any of our buggies without worry. The biggest part is finding a safe mounting point for the tow bar. The Yerfs lower shock mounts worked quite well since there was no front end in the way. I have yet to fit the Joyner and may have look for other mount points... _________________ 07 Joyner SandSpider 650

I will be there. I think the eletrical prob on my buggy is the CDI! I can either get a stock one for about $30 (but why would I do that?) OR I can get a aftermarket from Florida and the coil that is suposed to increase the RPM a great deal for about $90 plus shipping. Has anyone installed one of these on there GTR? I will have it up and going as soon as my wife says I can. We are getting a another Vizsula puppy. So i have a feeling any "extra" money will have to go to collors, food, toys, treats........... You know the drill. But the buggy will be fixed soon enough. _________________ Worst case senerio: Heaven... I don't see the problem.

When: Fri. Mar.21st thru Sun.23rd
Where: Meet @ my place, just North of Pasco,Wa. (pm or email me ossman@eltopia.com for address & directions)
My Goal: see if its possible to have Too Much Fun
Agenda: is very flexible, thought we'd do a country drive from our place, a loop consisting of about 30-40 miles. T.J. (my youngest)& I finally had a chance to pre-run bluffs right off the Columbia River, w/some awesome hill climbs, not a large area but has hills that may well challenge even a 650cc, connecting this and a couple other local desert areas, & ending up back @ our home m/x track (complete with private campground), plenty of Motels & other campgrounds close by as well.
Then Sat. load up & head to Juniper Forest Dunes, enjoy some dune play & lots of trails as well here; although trails are a bit whooped out, 3000+ acres of desert & dunes to explore. Then Sun. either up North a ways to a friends farm; we are setting up a TT style flat track & he has a trail down 300' hill to river, very cool but have to fix a couple wash outs & pre run this to make sure 150's can make it back up, or Richland ORV Park (ORV has new private owners, & fees are ridiculous) still working on this as the new manager has not returned my calls.
As some of this ride is on Private property, I need to point out the need for Personel Responsility (referring to- land owner Liability issues, that all Land owners fear, no waivers etc. its a trust thing, I've been granted permissions from all effected Land Owners based on their trust in me). Its all about Fun !!! and I think this is gona be a great time, and is always more fun to ride w/others.
Dee4Lee, you still gotta work this w/end ??
Jeffroandy, you gona come join us ?
