There are two lakes that are set up for swimming and fishing. These are in the day parking lots. There are a few Pits available to the public with picknic tables. These are located in the main staging area.

There is room to set up, and it is centrally located.

Or it could be done in one of the Camping loops, but that may be harder to get set up.

Chris

I also think everyone should have some walkie talkies set to the same frequency so we can update changes and communicate with others.
We can also use these to announce trail locations and help stranded riders.

We get so excited about being with you that we always forget. At EMR it's typically not a big deal. Tamaqua is a place to use them and St. Joe will be a must.

Also paint ball throat mics are really good to use. They work great, and depending on which you get they have good distance.

John, I like what you have so far! Now it is just a matter of a time frame. I personally won't be arriving till Fri afternoon. But don't let me hold anyone up. My first plan will be as always set up camp, crack open an icecold adult type beverage, then hit the trails for an hour or so,then I will make my rounds.

Radios are a good idea. And how are we going to do the cook out??? What I mean is,is 1 person going to bring hotdogs and hamburgers for everyone,or are we going to bring our own and just have someone cook it all up,or are we going to bring our own, then cook it up then pay $10 to do it? I personally would be happy to donate a case of dogs,or burgers for the cause.Oh yeah and a pt of smokehouse beans for TH Laughing .
Chris,(laymansm)are the pits there big enough to do a big cookout? I never saw them, and I know the ones at the campsites really aren't. I could also bring a pretty big charcoal grill,if nessesary. I am getting excited (daddy are we there yet?)

Mike

I think saturday is going to be the big day... If anything, the cookout will be friday night or saturday at lunch... I think Saturday lunch would be the perfect time for the group pic...

Should be the highest attendance saturday and dwindle off sunday, so most events should be around the morning of saturday throughout sunday morning... That gives everyone a chance to participate in events at least once, as well as provide ample opportunity to pack and what not...

As per events... Obviously drag races are really popular.. Maybe we could set up a bracket thingy, like Friday night and Saturday morning we could do time trials or whatever, and hold the finals Sunday... lol I know it is hard with other people coming down, but it shouldnt be too much of a prob with ATV's in the mix, as long as there isnt a repeat of last year....

The NE Bash had a neat closed loop that took a couple minutes to complete a couple laps, and it was awesome fun having each buggy timed hot lapped and compete for fastest loop buggy!!! lol... darn ACBlind and his weight advantage!!! He beat me by 4 seconds!!! darnit!!! lol... BUT, we should set up a loop or possibly a rally type course for fun or for some type of award... I was thinking about donating a few trophies for something of that nature, as a take home to remember your good times!!!

We'll see how that pans out...

As per anything else... Does anyone want a tech session of some kind, like a "How-To" moment??? lol I thought about it... There are so many geniuses on BN.com, we could probably get at least 2 to give pointers and such about mods and safety on the buggies! That could kill a few min, let the motors cool for a bit, get some adult beverages in the belly and learn a little something to make the buggy faster/stronger/more fun??

Anyway... Just throwin them out there!!!
