alot of times the cap from the overflow tank does not deal good. check it for dirt in the groove, I have a used muffler from my 250 that should work on yours $25.00 for it.
as far as the cap letting out oil. where is the cap? _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's Atv's, parts and repairs. accessories for all makes.

BLACK IN THE RESEVOIR???? does it smell like gas or oil? is there sludge or bwornish stuff in there as well??? USING antifreeze and not leaking is very bad. If it was dripping somewhere, then I would say, not too big of a deal, but if you have balck gunk in your resevoir, that usually means OIL....
Oil in the resevoir means you blew the head gasket and antifreeze when into the crankcase, and you are now mixing oil and anifreeze. very bad. NOT TO SCARE YOU, this may not be the case, but CHECK YOUR OIL!!!!!! The reason it would be blowing out like crazy could be that the case is filling with the green stuff!!! I would drain the motor entirely of oil into a container that you can see in... Check for any liquid under the oil. If there is nothing in there but oil, then great, do a good oil change and go to a local auto parts store and see if they have a radiator pressure tester... You pump about 8 psi of air into the radiator and look and listen for leaks...
Only problem is the black you have...that is concerning me a lot....

Hey, I was reading the posts on here and looking at a your pictures. From the picture you posted it appears as if your front end is out of alignment. Have you checked it?
Also, coolant color? Is this coolant you put in there or the original? Is there a chance that someone mixed coolants? There are several different types now on the market. If you mix them they will turn the coolant a brown color.
Also, there's a chance the radiator just needs a good flush and fill. You can do that yourself. If you don't know how just ask.
