The weather has been a roller coaster this winter. It turned out to be a great day. Temps in the mid to high 60's, sunny for most of the day. So we cannot waist it, we loaded up the kids (and the new puppy) and made tracks.

Puppy only rides in the neighborhood. Baby only where is is dry and reasonably easy on the bumps. The son, anything goes. He is almost as crazy as I am behing the wheel.

It was a warm day here too. The temperature was in the mid-40's today. I'd love to have the 60s and the 80s are but a faint memory right now.

Nice family there fireman1.

That cold?

This is warm weather right now.
It was cold a few weeks ago when we got all the snow. It's been raining here off and on the last few days and we still have snow on the ground.

There's more snow on it's way tomorrow night.

I miss snow. I have enough gear to keep me warm in to the single digits. There is snow in my hometown (Cumberland Md.)also. We rode motorcycles until it snowed and then a little more. When the Bikes would not go it was time to pull out the snowmobiles. We have not seen snow here in years. Sheet and freezing rain sometimes but not snow. I have been wanting to ride the buggy in snow. Doesn't look like it will happen this year.

In the 18 months I was in NC, it snowed once but did not stick.

Seattle gets about a week of snow a year, but usually the the winters are in the 40's while the summers are in the 70's. However, it's easy to find snow in the winter by climbing above 2500 ft. Our ski resorts currently have over a five foot base. If you're on the western side of the state, rain for nine months is the worst weather that will occur.
