just purchased two murray go cart this lastcouple of months. the first was a small two seater, 6hp motor w/ clutch and chain powering one wheel. the second i just picked up is a one seater w/ the same 6hp motor. this one has a jack shaft and a torque converter.
neither are running yet but i was wondering which power train is the better of the two?

also i was thinking of running a light setup using led taillights on a small mower or power wheels battery. any suggestions on some headlights?

we live down in south texas so the only place we can run the cart i figure is at the beach.

if anyone has any suggestions or any info on parts?

Go with the Jackshaft setup, especially if it's a Comet clutch.

Parts is parts...

Jacks Small Engines has a lot of parts and his prices are okay.

Post some pics of the carts. It will help us identify what model they are. This in turn will help us help you.

OffRoadKarter has a Murray GoCart. He has it running well.

If you're looking for a specific part let us know.
We'll help you find it.
