Guys - I just purchased a Kazuma Mammoth 800 and all of the sudden it stopped idleing. After doing some searching i found a bracket on the carb broken and the idle mixture screw missing. I am working with Kazuma to get new parts but they are slow.

I was wondering if anyone here knows where I can get Kazuma carb parts or wether or not a different carb will work on this 800cc engine. The mammoth currently has a mikuni carb on it and I think a weber carb will work but which one???

Any other information will help as well - Thanks!!

Thanks for the help,

Paul

I don't know anything about the Kazuma myself but I know that a few guy's over on Utilityoffroad.com have them. You might want to try contacting the guy who made this post, "Helidude", he seems to have a lot of info on them.

I believe it is the same F8b 800cc that is in our buggies. Do a search on here for weber carb, or look in the other sections. There is lots of info on which conversion you need.

Fast freddies has done a lot of work on the conversion, you could contact them.

Chris

You can now find "Heledude" and other Mammoth owners posting and sharing information at http://members7.boardhost.com/KazumaMammoth/ which is a forum created just for the Mammoth.

check the F8B engine manual in the "sticky" at the top of the this engine section. A quick look at the carb section will tell you if it is at all similar to your model. If so, than you can get parts from Roketa, West Coast, Desert Toys, Sean @ Super Karts, as well as others.

good luck,
mick

Mick - I checked out the sticky. That carb looks almost exactly like mine. Thanks for the info - I will be checking on getting parts very soon.

Thanks!!!
