I wouldn't have thought you would have a hill that steep in Kansas! I sure wouldn't be following that close going up a rocky hill though. Those rocks don't look real tastey!
Those are what I expected to see for hills in Kansas. Is that terrain typical? The scattered rocks and all?
I don't recall there being that many rocks. But then again, I haven't been off-road in Kansas for more than 20 years. _________________ Chris Dierkens

yeah, that little 150 continues to surprise me, motor totally stock, modified suspension & 40 tooth sprocket, carries the wife & I up without a problem, but not the smoothest in the world with the swing arm, lol. John's HH is the one I like, no bigger than my 150 but with that 250 will go about anywhere it seems like, with a nice IRS smooth ride. The rocks can be a pain at times. _________________ yerfdog, jetted, exhaust, rollers, rear axle mod, sprocket, ft spindles, fenders, tires, shocks, stero, xtra gas tank & battery, hood, side panels, top, removable windshield

Brent is too modest - that buggy of his amazes me every time we go riding. We may be in Kansas, but as you can see from the video, this place is full of rocks and steep hills. We've gone up some hills that I barely made it in the HH250 - I get to the top and look back and here comes Brent and his wife with a load of rocks chugging up the hill. (I'll let Brent explain about the rocks).
I will say this about the Tuttle OVR - its worth a couple hours drive. There are plenty of trails like in the video - but there are also lots of less technical trails through the woods. So, if you are reading this and looking for a place to ride in the mid-west, the 310 acres at Tuttle OVR is a good choice.
Here's a link to a map of the trails:

They don't call them the flint hills for nothing .
John was that from the last ride when my buggy was.....uhhh,"not performing up to par" ?
Some of those trails do take little naviguessing, but are do-able with our buggies. It is worth the 2hr trip.

Mike - yea thats from the last trip. "Naviguessing" I like that - very fitting. We need to get some video towards the bottom half of this hill, thats the tricky part. The tough part is fairly easy by comparison. _________________ Twister Hammer Head 250 - 2006
