I mount mine on a 1x4 in front of the dash. where the frame bends down to form the front of my buggy. drilled a hole and ran a bolt up into the camera mounting hole. Hit that wide angle and away you go.Very steady and cheap. Oh yeah zipties to mount the board to the frame.

No it bogged. That problem seems to have been solved by putting a little grease on the sliding portion of the driven pully. Seems to allow it to downshift under load faster.

I did here the pop in the video, but don't remember hearing it at the time. It does sound like it jumped a tooth.

the reason i ask is that mine done that one time a while back
so i shut it down and went to adjust the chain and the chain was in good shape not to loose or tight never could figure out what happened. the only thing i could think of was the chain had alot of pressure againist it and then when one or the other sprockets pressure was gone it caused the other won to jump a tooth.i was hoping you knowed

The 1st time I watched it I didn't notice anything. The 2nd time I thought it was just my speakers. I was trying to see if and how much the swingarm compressed during the climb. It was hard to tell. I'm getting older so that could be a factor.

What do you think caused the chain to pop?

My guess is there was enough torque on the chain to flex the axle or engine tensioner. As soon as there is a reduction in engine torque, the slack allows the chain to jump.
