same thing is happening in Iowa. I got my house up for sale right now because we cant ride in our yards anymore in this county. I have found a house in another county where it doesnt seem to be an issue. A couple years ago I had my motocross practice track shut down I had for ten years for no apparent reason. didnt hurt a soul it was out in the country. here is a pic.

And I thought Connecticut was bad. We may not have any public places to ride, but at least we can ride on private land. For now anyway...

I am in NJ but this really ticks me off when things like this happen. It gets really annoying after a while of these stuck up people with nothing better to do then figure out ways to screw us. We arnt doing anything, but they have to be bi*ches about evertihng cause they are bored.

I mean think about it, shouldn't they be more worried about other things beside people riding on THERE property that they bought with THERE own money.

I don’t know about that. I use to go to this awesome spot called Flat rock. Miles of trails to ride on, middle of no where. Now if you even get caught unloading your off road vehicle near a entrance that has been blocked off, if they even suspected that you are going back to ride on the trails it’s a 500 dollar fine Evil or Very Mad

it is their right to do so. And that bill came up just because someone decided he was sick of seeing peoples boxers. If they are willing to go that far, who’s to say they won’t try to pass a law similar with riding on your own property. Now I am ticked, sure I have more than 5 acres but Not being allowed to ride on you own property unless Jaw Drop!

so Tom...What happened with the meeting? any resolution? Is this still carrying on? I cant believe they would go that far just to stop some noise in a neighborhood!!! If that were the case, I would look to find investors outside of town to buy up a bunch of the properties, and rent my house from them for the same price as my mortgage!!!! lol... All i need is a lifetime agreement!!! lol... That way, if you, your neighbor, and their neighbor and a few other people get bought and then lease the property, you will meet the 5 acre propert min!!! lol

I know that is like an impossibility, but what other than moving can you do???

We could all pool our spare change and purchase the 500 acres behind Vinny's place. A golf-course a clubhouse and a few cabins on it would make it a perfect buggy park.
