I'm so sorry to hear this. Sad

Can I ask what happened? I didn't read that he was sick. Just a shock to me, I'm 35.

My condolences, just recently found out about his passing, it was really sad to hear about this, though I never personally met him, through this site and talking to him on the phone, Steve is a great guy. He will be missed.

My heart is now saddened. I don't log onto BN much these days and just found out. My family's thoughts and prayers go out to the Hopkins family. Although I never met Steve face to face I feel like I did. He was one of the nicest people you could talk to and it shows in this site. I am on a lot of forums and none of them can touch the personality and comradery of this site and that is all because of Steve. He will be missed Sad

I too am at a loss for words...like many others I have not logged on as much latley...as I used to. I am shocked and saddened by this news...

After purchasing my first buggy....and jumping right into the modification of the buggy...things werent going so well. I needed much help over the course of 3-4 months...I was always amazed at how quickly people responded to my calls for help...and I have to say...90% of the time it was Steve that offered the first round of advice and/or encouragement. Over and over I would log in...first explaining my issues...then getting suggestions...then trying out the advice...etc. etc. until we finally figured it out....the man must have had the patience of a Saint....because I know I had to be annoying...

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Hopkins family...I know that Steve is in a better place...

Steve was all about helping people. He did it in his job and in his hobbies.

I am totally lost for words. I feel like I just lost a relative that I hadn't talked to in a month or two since I don't get on much anymore.

Steve never made me feel like he was better than anyone even though he had the title "Site Admin" next to his name. I could tell from his words on here that he had the compassion for people that everyone should have.

THANK YOU SUE (and family) FOR SHARING STEVE WITH US!!!!!!!!!!

Over the next few months, our family will be praying for your family.

Steve created a site that has contributed a lot to many lives. My entire family LOVES buggies and if it hadn't been for this site, we may have never found out about them. We spend a lot of time together out on our trails. This site kept me from looking like and idiot to my boys for tearing the buggies apart in the interest of mods. And we've kept them running strong thanks to this site. My kids will have life-long memories of these good times.
In a nutshell, Steve made our lives a little better - and that's no little thing.

Tim
