I installed the 17g sliders and blue spring from Glade. This is a great mod with great results, i recommend it to everyone with a buggy.

I liked dealing with Glade, i got a great price and he is very helpfull althought the guide he sends with the kit really isnt that great.

I read the sticky about Dewmanity's install on his 150cc and downloaded his step by step PDF. This was a life saver. if you have not downloaded it DO IT NOW! Although my Joyner (CF Moto) [CN250] 250cc Sand Viper is a little differnet so I took some picture of the install and wrote a supplement to Dewmanity's guide for Joyner 250cc owners. Let me know if this helps anyone out.

And Glade if you want to use this when you send out these rollers for Joyner owners I am cool with it.

I purchased the same size sliders and spring for my HH 250SS. Did you lose any top speed with this mod?

Just did the mod last night and did some really quick test runs to check acceleration from stop but didnt get to top speed. I am going to give it a full test this weekend and see if I lost any top speed.

Ok supersoxy I went out and tested the buggy and I think I actually picked up some top speed. with two people (me and a friend) we hit 50 on the speedometer (which is actually like 46 on the gps) and before we could only do 42 on the gps and with tow people the accel is better but alone it takes off like a bat out of devilville. Let me know how your mod goes.

Thanks for the reply. I just got mine in yesterday. I hope to find some time over the weekend to get them installed. With the tire upgrade I did, it seems like acceleration slowed a bit so I'm anxious to get that back.

Could tell us
1.]your slider [ Sliding Roller Weight ] is 23x18 or 24x18?
2.]your Joyner [ CFMOTO] CN250 is old model
[ with bell 135mm] or new model [ with bell 153mm] ?

Thanks.

WOW...thx alot for your thoughtfullness in doing this thread. Seriously. I am a novice at best in mechanics but I own every tool there is. I followed your instructions and even I could do it. My wife and dogs hid for the 1.5 hours it took me to do it but I was able to do it without an emergency room visit.

Anyway.....Thanks again it was a huge help

I agree geek. It should be a sticky. I dont think I could have done the upgrade without it.

Thx for the good search features here @ BN too.
