I recently went to one of the new ATV parks that are being developed here in Eastern Kentucky. I found out about it on the web and the brochure mentioned Rhino's and other UTV's were no problem. But I emailed them just to make sure about the width issue with my buggy (56 inches). They had no clue what a mini buggy was. First they were worried about the width, then the ground clearence, then it was the "...buggy's tear everything up..." crap. The last one really was the most ridiculous. I mean if you are going to let UTV's and Raptors on your trails then worrying about me spinning my tires is ridiculous. I went any way and had a good time. None of the above was an issue for us. I just wish the rep had been there so I could educate her on our machines. Anyway thanks for letting me vent. _________________ ACE 250R2 uni with 125 jet, stock exhaust

I called CAW when I first heard about the place. The operator I spoke with was very nice, but like you said, was very uneducated with regards to mini-buggies. He asked if it was like the rhino, and I said kinda, but more like oddy's and pilots, just some are a lot slower!!! lol... I sent him pictures and stats of a couple buggies, and he sent me very nice emails back saying it would be an honor to have our buggies ride at CAW. He said he had never seen ones like mine or the carter pics I sent, but was very enthusiastic. I was pleased with his reaction, but also concerned that here he is running an off-raod adventure park, and is completely oblivious to our off-roaders!!!!
But, I hope I enlightened him, and I hope people are showing up down there!!!! We NEED to educate!!!!!!
thats the key to getting our buggies known is getting them out there so people can see them and what they can do.
I park a 150 and the 300 atv out by the road at my store, there has been alot of folks come in asking about them. I put the 07 bash video in and let them watch it. they are amazed at the buggy. _________________ Blade buggies,Carter buggy's, ams (manco) , joyner, parts for almost anything

Same here BigE,
My buggy is always in the back of my truck or on my trailer wherever I go! I talk to people at the gas stations and grocery store parking lots and hand out business cards. I also try to visit and ride ATV parks every month and show them as well!
You just have to be persistent and make a point to show anybody that will listen. Rausch and Tower city wouldn't let us in until we went up there with a couple buggies and showed them!
We're getting there!
EMR might be a new place to ride after this rally too! _________________ -Tom-

EMR is already a place to ride, but they only hold ATV weekends once a month... Reason being, they are a paintball superfield! It is a paintball park, and Blue, the owner, is a world champion paintballer!!! lol... SO they have a ton of property, and Blue lets ATV's ride once a month to keep some small income on the side I guess... We went for the first time back in March, three of us, and Blue really had a good time wathcing our buggies, showing us his property, and getting to know the buggies... We went there again for a fun weekend I think in april, and had an even better time, and we had more buggies show, which looked good for us, and again, showed promise to Blue about our sport!
Agian, he only hosts one weekend a month, which is a little inconvenient at times, but still a place to ride! lol...better than Paragon!!!!
So, our NE rally is being held there graciously, and if all goes well without incident, I think this sport will get a good boost, and possibly a little more advertising!
