Hey guys, I pumped my gearbox full of grease and of course it started flinging it everywhere. Everything is tight, it just ozzes out. So I cut about 2" off the top of a tin 1 lb. coffee can, cut it, then made a couple of notches in one side to mount to 2 of the 3 bolts on the gearbox, I have the longer end going down above the chain towards the engine. The side of the band covers the gearbox where the O-ring is, and just about covers the chain. I think this will prevent it from throwing grease and it is a cheap simple mod. I guess you could make a real professional chain guard from heavier metal but this appears to work. I can put up some pics if needed.
I would like to see some pics, sounds like a great idea!!!!! _________________ Throw'n Dirt In SW Missouri!!
