This clever way to make standoffs is found on my Ridge Runner. I think it's cool so I'll share it with everyone. All it takes is a short piece of tubing and a wire tie. Costs nearly nothing. The steps are described in the picture comments. _________________ _________________

Thanks guys.
When I first saw that little trick I knew it needed to be shared. It doesn't mark the paint, cut in to the wires, loosen, cost anything, require drilling or rusty screws, etc etc. Also doesn't collect mud like strapping right to the surface does. The Ridge Runner is built by aircraft guys so they probably have a couple tricks we haven't seen before. _________________ _________________
