To say that SUNL and ROKETA are virtually the same as TJ Powersports, is a stretch. There simply isn't a kart that Roketa or SUNL import that compares to the quality of the TJ Line.
The larger, longer standing, more ethical brand names tend have more quality built into them as well as having the parts and supply backing.
Many of the larger names Dazon, TJ Powersports, Joyner come out of one factory, their own. For that reason they can control quality better. They don't sell these products to SUNL or ROKETA. SUNL and ROKETA are buyers from multiple factories... they basically are resellers for their kart lines. For this reason, some of the SUNL and Roketa line are not bad... and some of it is pure crap. It's coming from difference sources.

Some of what you say is true Steve but none of the factories mentioned other than Joyner has a factory of there own. All the others includeing TJ powersports import from a group of factories and sunl or roketa can import from the same places. The difference is that some companies are more careful what they import and arnt willing to import the cheap poorly made karts. That was exactly my point you may or may not get a good product with sunl or any of them for that matter. Look at the individual karts and see how well they are made I have two "sunl" products that if you put them side by side the difference in quality is readily apparent. _________________ 2005 Joyner 650 Turbo

SUNL is hit or miss on the quality of their products, but one thing you CAN count on.....is that you will have to fight them tooth and nail for any warranty claims or replacement parts. SUNL has a NO RETURNS, NO EXCHANGES policy that applies to EVERYONE including dealers. So even if you as a dealer get a bunch of bad product, your stuck with it cause they won't exchange it. You either have to fix it yourself or eat the cost. And if SUNL doesn't have the parts in stock....oh well, you have to sit on inventory and wait on the next boat from China which may or may not have the parts you need. I've dealt with SUNL for over 2 yrs. I know many SUNL and ex-SUNL employees. I'm 15 miles from their national warehouse in Dallas TX. Jennifer, the parts manager and John the service manager at Kinroad USA are both ex SUNL employees. It's a crap shoot with SUNL. Not all of their products are junk, but do you as a dealer or buyer want to take a chance? SUNL is a company unlike any other in the powersports industry.
