Well. Upsate Pa., while doing some exploring miles away from home, my front wheels on my manco xtk10 suddenly decided that they didn't want to agree anymore. I lost a bolt on one of my tie rods and both front wheels pointed inwards. I was lucky enough to rig up a bolt I found on another place on my kart and was able to limp home. I was also lucky not to flip it, I only skidded about 20-30 feet. Next feat was driving home while it was getting dark with no lights lol.

Off the injured list, still trying to find a buggy.
The wifes buggy: 2005 Carter Talon, supertrapp pipe, koso 3300 rpm race clutch, NCY aircraft aluminum vented clutch bell, 1500rpm spring, 10gram sliders
Those can be scary...
When the ball joint went on my son's cart I was lucky to still be in the parking lot at work. The 1st time my cart broke I was probably a mile or so from the office... I cheated and called in a truck, but I still had to push the buggy 1/4-mile or so.
I'm glad to see you didn't get hurt. _________________ Chris Dierkens

Glad you are allright, bt there is a good example of rear steer arms, front steer rarely bend....tension instead of compression.... _________________ Desert Trail And Sand Fabricators
That looks to familiar...
I bent mine after hitting a tree, wheels pointed out instead of in all most at that angle
I drove it about two miles back home, up hill through some tight trails ( praying the whole way) steering was all over the place , but it made it back....then I banged it back into shape. And took it back out.
I am glad you were safe

Dude, don't worry too much. Even if I happen to lose a little steering I think I will be able to beat you since you only have reverse. Oops, did I say that outloud? _________________ N.E. "GANG" MEMBER...

I will get that fixed, and throw a 4 valve in the mix. Then well see who is talking smack _________________ '04 Manco 906c
