I was not in this to make money I did it for the kids and so I would have a place to ride. There were never no accidents reported to insurance companies, not even the death. I think they saw an opportunity to make some money and went for it.

I wish there was something we could do to help you out. I love that area of the country, I grew up there.

I still think I'd try to get the pro users to pay for the insurance. You are the only one that can determine if it's worth your while to put the extra effort into getting this worked out.

If you had 15 pro riders you could split that up amoung them, that's only $1k/each. That sounds cheap for a place to ride all the time.

At this point if you could get the pro riders to cover the cost increase you'd be where you started.

Good Luck,

Chris

The only bad part is them guys only come through this area now and then, most of them either live in california or florida. I have 2 of them from Iowa that are around more than others but thats only 2000. The insurance company has made me level it already . It was the best thing this part of the country had going for the motorsports group of kids. There were alot of people that got their children into riding just because they knew they had a place to ride. I have built a couple tracks since then but they are way smaller and way more private. I am in the process of buying a farm way out in ther country with some woods way in the back so no one even knows it is there, hopefully. JOYNER RULES!
