I have a custom built sand rail with 1600 cc volkswagon motor that has been balanced and a few upgrades done to it. It has turning breaks, a custom trailor ect.
it needs some work as it has been sitting for several years, i will go take some pictures today when i get a min.
The 650 is probably the right choice for you Wake. If I were driving in the area you will be driving, I would get that or the Joyner 800cc Some of the best looking buggies out there are Joyners not to mention the suspension looks rock solid with them. Atleast looking at pictures online anyway. Have you given up on getting a Carter GTR250? _________________ Randy

Ya i think ive decided agasint the gtr250. If im going to get a 60inch wide buggy im going to get one with some power!!
I like the 800 sand viper but its a little to wide for me. I might hang on and wait for the 800 mini to come out which should be the best of both worlds!
I want something that will actually climb a sand dune and go in the sand on more then just level ground like my peirspeed 250 will!
I was going to sell the peirspeed 250 and get the gtr250 but now i have decided to keep the peirspeed for the kids and people to putt around on and get at least a 650 for me to drive!!
