Got it fixed!
My dealer got me silver ones knowing I have a Black Twister but I thought it might look cool anyways.
Not too bad of a repair.
I also picked up a CVT boot for a HH Jr to replace my excuse of a filter.
I'll put a 4" red UNI on the end of it.
Buggypics 018.jpg: 11 Time(s) Viewed, 641.84 KB Notice, I forgot to put the boot back on the top of the strut :-(
The angle on that upper ball joint looks a little extreme!
Ya, I noticed that in the pic too!
Once the tire is back on and it's on the ground, it's not as steep _________________ -Tom-

Where are the dust/grease boots? Are they silver also because it doesn't look like they are on the strut.

well the vw isn't going to be fixed anytime soon. I spun a main bearing on the crankshaft. also have some loosness in the front end but it was a little loose before the rally. My steering box now has an aful lot of play in it now. but most of this stuff I knew about before hand but it definately got finished off at the rally. I would love it if we could all get together and do some riding that would be great! just not sure what I will be riding. The twister held up fine no real damage to the buggy. I am about to order all the mods for the cvt and so forth. Still working on the carb issue though. I would like to order those spacer that Blister makes for the carb conversion.
here are some pics of the vw motor coming off in my shop. the first one's are of the donor car for that possible engine swap I keep thinking about he he he. if I do it I'll let you all know.
