Tom, Goat Trailer..I'll be laughing all day after that one.
Ok, all you 800cc guy's. if I see you coming up behind me, You'll see a ramp mounted up the back of the Talon, and you can just jump over me. You know what I'll do though, I'll look high & low for 2 tree's with only a 54" space between them, and make sure I look back and get a picture of your face. _________________ Jim,......

Hey guys!
Went back to Rausch creek today. Nam6869usmc brought his Carter 150 and me and my son in my Twister 250 and we just rode the heck out of them!
When I was up there a couple weeks ago gps'ing the course, I stumbled onto an area that looked like it might be good for a play area. I wanted to go back today to mark the course better and time it and to test out the play area.
The course is 4.22 miles long. I ran it officially twice.
It took me 14 minutes the first time and 13 minutes the second.
I averaged almost 19mph throughout (Kind of surprised me too. About half the course would be considered "Easy to Med" for Jeeps and I had the added weight of my son as well!)
It's very do-able and as a matter of fact, I think it adds another element to the race! I blasted thru as much as I could while keeping the risk of breaking something as low as my wanting to beat my first time would allow!
Both my Twister and Jim's Carter took it well!
I got a couple minutes of film of us in the play area.
Check it out!!

Tom, great Vid,...I think today made me realize when you Mod these 150's they perform exceptional. No, it will never be a 250, but they do everything you ask them to do. 8 gr Slider's aren't for everyone, but they really gave me that extra grunt with quicker (right now RPM) . GPS'ed at 33.5 today, fast enough and the Rear Shock's up front made a whole lot of what I did today possible. ....... That course is an absolute blast, it's addtictive. If you think you have any weakness you would like to analyze, run that course hard & you'll know how or what Mod you might wanna change or upgrade. Great place to sort those little thing's out.
Tom's alway's been a great guy to ride with, beware though, he drive's like he stole it. I think who ever show's up for this NE Buggy Bash will have the time of there life _________________ Jim,......

Ya! There's stuff everywhere! It's just all hidden in weeds!
In all the hours I have logged in there, I still haven't had a chance to explore anything but the course and surrounding trails and even then, if I didn't have it marked, I'd still take a wrong turn! It's pretty big! The parts that we cut off the original course has some challenges that might draw a crowd!
The map here is close but not completly accurate. Lynn at Rausch Creek is making a nice map for us that we should have soon.
Found another clip on my camera I didn't post yet. It's the east corner of the course.
This clip shows a change not reflected in this map. I call it the "Flintstone Slide". The "Actual" course is washed too bad and believe it or not, this shortcut is better. This is one of 2 sections of the course where you must crawl thru! If you want to try a hill climb, try going UP this! I did it and jim did it in his 150 but I think some would have to back down!
