I have owned two of those karts in the past and the shocks are absolutely bone stock. I thought about buying this kart on ebay as a little beater but just can't go back to the (GOKART) era. I like the kart it is a decent machine but they have inferior upper arms on the front suspension and they have no bushings either. The steering is a 5/8 rod connected to a pivot plate that is connected to another pivot plate on the passenger side by a tierod and then there are the tierods to the spindles one on each side of the pivot plates for each wheel. It is a very archaic design by comparison to the rack and pinion systems on most of the karts today. The seats are not very comfortable either. Again it is a decent GOKART but it is not for rough terrain.
