HAS ANYONE PORTED AND POLISHED THERE 150CC BUGGY. I HAVE A FRIEND THAT HAS DONE NUMEROUS BIKES AND WOULD BE WILLING TO DO MY TALON, BUT HE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF RESULTS PEOPLE HAVE GOTTEN AND ROUGHLY HOW MUCH THEY HAD TO DO. HE IS GOING TO MILL THE HEAD ALSO AND AGAIN WANTED TO KNOW HOW MUCH.

Yes, the compression ratio changes when you shave the head. I just don't know by how much.

You would have had to measure the volume of the combustion chamber in the head after you milled it to figure out the compression ratio.

Compression gauges work too..

We are running around 9:1 stock, and raising it to about 10:1 or a little more from folks that have run the test. There is a point where raising the compression further doesn't help performance anymore.

Do a search for Kell's posts on the matter. He had tried pushing it further with no gain in performance.
