I read about that guys problems with his Trakker. What a travesty. People pointed out some serious negatives with the Chinese buggy Market and you pull the posting. That is really weak. I run a forum for another industry and let the chips fall as long as it is real. I saw the pictures of that Trakker and it looked real bad.
I want to thank this board though. It has helped me to decide and buy a Yamaha Rhino. The Chinese are capable fo producing a first-rate machine, they just aren't going to do it for these kind of dollars. I know some of the Karts have better reliability than others, but jeeze guys, read these posts. These things are really scary.
If I were going to buy a Chinese Kart, from what I have read, I would go with Blade. If I were going to buy an American one, it would be a Manco F 265. I know Manco doesn't have reverse or advertise on this site, but be real. You cannot get 20 HP out of 250 CC pushing 1,000 pounds with no torque and expect performance or a long service life. The Stinger looks pretty cool, but it is pricey.
I am buying the Yamaha Rhino and I am goign to finance some of it. I am not rich, but I do appreciate the 3.9 percent financing, reliability and resale value. Not to mention the utility, capability, and performance.
I know this goes against many on this board, I think you are great guys, but you are pioneering this buggy market (which may get better) or may not. I would look for Manco to release a buggy with 15 HP loads of torque and reverse within a year. Maybe Polaris or Honda will jump in and then the Chinese brands may have to compete. Those companies offer financing which will make things easier on buyers with limited revenue.
Anyways, good luck but be honest. If something isn't right, fix it. Don't be shill for advertisers. They have to rise to your expectations, not vice-versa.
I did not... you may have noticed that the site went down for almost an hour with a database issue right after you posted. Your post was probably lost for that reason (a recent backup was restored)
The database server actually went down as I was trying to reply to your post.

I was replying to about ten posts. I use PHPBB and if you set-up your chron jobs you can have this thing back-up every hour if you want. Some of that post was old. I am glad to hear you are not removing posts though and appologize for the error.
I like your site and think you are doing a good service here. I just wish the riders of these machines could gain more control over the quality control in manufacturing. It is really sad to read about a Twiser Hammerhead, modded to death going flat out at 23 MPH with a little girl at the helm.
Most of the posts on here are less than glowing about these machines. I know they are cheap, but people work hard to make $3,000.00 and expect something to do what it is engineered to do.
Again, sorry for my error. If you need the name of a REALLY good server provider (I have a dedicated server with them), contact me via email. I have had 0 failures in 22 months.
Not sure what HH you are talking about doing 23mph ( I can't read everything on here) but there must be something wrong with that particluar one as others easily outdo that. As for your rhino purchase I am sure you will be happy. My brother just purchased one and loves it. They do have their problems too. I'm sure if you find a rhino forum you will see that. This reminds me of the guy who came on the Ford Truck Enthusiast forum and thanked everyone for convincing him to buy a dodge because of the problems he read about. That is just ignorance if you ask me. People post on the forums for help to their problems. It is a place to get answers. Go to a Dodge site and you will see the same thing. What about the millions of people who aren't having problems and posting on there? I am sure there are thousands of buggy enthusiast who are not having problems. I sure would never base my decision to purchase something or not based solely on a forum. So to adhere to the KISS principle. If all 1500 or so members on here all had a problem with their buggies. What percentage of all buggies sold is that? Hmmm _________________

UH OH! Better hold the Rhino purchase, looks like they got some problems. Here are some excerpts from just a few posts on there.
"I just got back from my first trip to glamis with my rhino. With my kids in the back it bottom's out very easy. Do you guy's think adjusting the shocks will help?"
"06 Rhino Backfiring"
Noisy rear cv joints
Different post than above
"i broke left rear cv joint do i have to replace the hole axle or just the joint any help please"
"Help spotting rear diff bracket brakeage"
"I took the Rhino out today and noticed that when I was decending and not on the gas, there was a loud grinding sound"
"Took my buddy for a little spin and he starts yellin' about the seat came loose . Checked it out and the base around the latch had busted out"
"i'm going on my second set of rear brakes in less than 40 hours!!! and no, i don't ride with my e brake on? what is the problem?"
"HAS ANYONE ELSE SEEN THIS BEFORE? PLEASE SEE PICS(MIDDLE DRIVE GEAR) NOT SURE IF PICS WILL GO THROUGH. IF PICS DON'T POST, HERE IS WHAT HAPPENED. COMPLETE FAILURE OF DRIVE GEARS, IT IS LIKE A RING AND PINION ON A CAR." Man I bet that is expensive!
"I have in the past breezed through the previous postings on this topic, thinking I was un affected, until TODAY!!!!. Did the initial 25 hrs service and are 28 on from that. It never showed signs of smoke, or smelt as you might expect. It all came to a clattering holt this afternoon. I checked the the oil level several times after the initial change and are quite alarmed at the disapearance as of this afternoon, not to mention associated cost. The recommended yami service points could well be interpeted as generous or as previous post sugests, there is an underlying problem." Man that's too bad! Sounds expensive too!
Hope these guys were all still in their "6 Month (Limited Factory Warranty)"
Oh yea, did I mention my brothers 2 month old Rhino had a shock break already. Kinda makes that $3400 I paid for mine not look so bad after all. _________________

This was decent until about 1.5 months ago. I've asked to be transferred twice now to a new database server.
