For those of you coming to the Buggy Bash in May here is a link to the local tourism website that lists some of the closest accomodations for you to select from.
The locations in Marion are approximately 15 miles from Paddy's Bluff. The Princeton locations are about 18-23 miles and is home of the closest Wal-Mart in the area.
And here are links for the area at the I-24 area which is about 8-11 miles from Paddy's Bluff. Please keep in mind that these locations near the interstate are only 2or3 miles from one of the largest man-made lakes in the country and there are fishing tournaments almost every weekend during the spring and summer and there will be tons of bass fishermen in the area. So, if you want to stay at one of these locations make your reservations now!

There are tons of hotels and motels just a bit farther out, but these are the absolute immediate closest.
You can also check hotels in Paducah (about 40 miles away), Cadiz (about 30 miles away), Benton (about 25 miles away), Grand Rivers (about 20 miles away), Draffenville (about 25 miles away), Henderson (about 45 miles away), Evansville (about 65 miles away), Madisonville (about 50 miles away), Sturgis (about 20 miles away), Morganfield (about 25 miles away) and Calvert City (about 20 miles away)
If it comes down to the wire and you can't find some place to stay, let me know and I will beat the bushes and find someplace for you. It might be a bed and breakfast or a hunting lodge, but you'll have someplace to sleep and get clean!
If you have any questions, just ask away!

No problem, I'm just trying to help everybody get their ducks in a row. May isn't that far away and people need to start making decisions and getting them finalized as soon as possible! Those motels around the lakes fill up extremely quickly sometimes when the bass tournaments start up.

Do you know if there is a camper rental place around there some where?
I called an RV dealer and asked them about renting RVs and they said they didn't and didn't know of anyone in Western Kentucky, but to try Nashville, TN and St. Louis, MO.
Sorry.
