i'm curious... where do i find a drill small enough?? the smallest i've found is 1/16 at home depot.

i finally did find a dremel drill bit in sizes of 1/32 and 3/64. the 3/64 converts to .119 roughly.

so, that's what i'm going with until i can get my hands on a 127.5.... so.... James, where are ya??

btw: the 135 is way too rich. motor won't even stay running.

thanks,
Rich

Thanks Stu--that's just what I did when I got home. Just waiting for a nice day to try it out.

Thanks again Stu, Steve, Kell

Mark,

hit it carefully with the #56, make sure not to leave any shavings at all, this will give you a 127 or so jet... will do you good until you get some jets in, we have some karts that we run this way and never added a new ket, no problems!!!

stu Very Happy

ok... i figured out the problem after taking the carb apart one more time.

the little pin that hold the float bowl on... well, it cam out and was sitting on my garage floor. Laughing oops. anyways... i got the float bowl back on... along with the little sphere looking stop for it... and now she runs really good with the 135.

so.... i surely appreciate this thread and all the help it has provided me.

btw: my wife's now officially excited to go ride this weekend.

thanks,
Rich

Seriously consider trying a 130 jet. 135 was just to much for several of us now. I know jetting is different for different folks, ... there is not true answer, but I can tell you that with the same equipment the 135 was actually bogging down my top end.

Most aftermarket parts dealers will send you the main jet. Some will send both with their pipes if they feel there is a need. You are mainly concerned with the main jet. If you are replacing the intake, and exhaust... or hacking your own exhaust for more flow... shoot for 127.5 to 130 area if you are somewhat close to sea level. If you are way high in elevation you will need smaller... so really, you haven't given us enough info to go on here.

I don't plan on changing the exhaust yet, but I will be adding a UNI filter for air intake. My elevation in the mountains is about 3300', but there will be times where i will take the buggy out to Borego Spring in the desert.
I just want to replace the Jet for one that will give me better fuel flow, to add the the UNI filter add on. Hope this info helps with Jet size.

Thanks
Anthony
