ok thanks everyone for your input. i havent been on lately so i didnt get the chance to tell you guys that the shimming was a succes. i used a vise and a huge cresent rench. anyway the shimming makes a big difference. it gets to its top speed faster and downshifts quicker.
I would think that it would be a worth while mod on a 250. I believe there are a couple ppl who have done it to a 250, but can't remember for sure right now. I am going to do that hopefully this weekend on a Sand Devil. _________________
