I live in michigan and i've heard they're pretty lenient about getting things street legalized. Should I be trying to meet the assembled vehicle standards? The title says go kart on it, not sure if that will be a problem. What do I need? just from talking to a couple people I know i need a windshield, wiper, high and low beams, DOTA tires, speedometer (going to use my garmin gps for this). Anything i'm missing? Does anyone with a similar model use theirs on the street? Anyone from michigan? Is the wheel base legal? Yes, I belive so... I think they just relaxed some standards to do so... It was either Michigan or Tennessee (Hey, I'm old..).
