Searched all over, couldn't find it. Where can I get a replacement?
try a hardware store probably get by with using a thick washer.

If you can't find it locally at a hardware store, try McMaster Carr (www.mcmaster.com). They have a wide selection of hardware that you can use. _________________ Chris Dierkens

i like that idea teamhog two thin nuts and a locking washer.thats just like tighten down a wheel bearing setup to keep from working loose.

I've thought about getting a bent-tab washer to put on there. Something along the lines of one of these.

Figured I could just cut off the 1/8" ring that I need from it. Then I realized I have no way to do it that would ensure dimensional uniformity (i.e. a hacksaw wouldn't make a straight cut).
I don't know how a thick washer would work either, since its outer diameter would be too big to fit where it needs to go.
So what else can I do to get a replacement? McMaster's site is so big I wouldn't even know where to start looking for a part like this.
That looks like the bushings that are used on the steering box of a Yerf-Dog. Looks like you were at Lowe's.
On McMaster's site, when you enter a term in the search box, it starts filtering right away...
Type in Spacer, then select Drill Bushings and Liners. You can then filter by size (inside diameter, length), by material (steel, aluminum).
If that doesn't do it, then go back to the begining and select washer from the list...
Don't be shy about it, just start digging.
If that doesn't work, as a fall back you could stack some washers together. Glue them together if you have to... _________________ Chris Dierkens

Thanks for the start on McMaster Chris, but none of the bushings I tried would fit the dimensions of this spacer. After looking around at washers I found what they call a high-collar split-lock washer that'll be at a hardware store.
dmd i had some time to fool around a little if you got a bench grinder in your garage just make one out of a thick 1/8 washer or two 1/16 washers. i had a big 1/8 thick washer in the bolt ben it was 1 1/4 OD and 5/8 ID.i found out that the 5/8 ID fit better any way.i did have to take around 3/16's off the outside of washer to make it fit the way i wanted but it works good.look around maybe you can find a 5/8 ID washer that is smaller OD then i had and you won't have to grind it down any.
here is some pictures of what i done.
hope this helps.

Man pud, I wish I had the time to fool around in the shop like you do! Those dimensions actually made it a LOT easier to find a flat washer that will fit. 1 x 5/8 x 1/8 (or 1/16 x 2) is a breeze.
Picked up a pair of washers last night that look like winners, 5/8" inner, 1" outer, and .072" thick. Has anyone ever tried using a lockwasher on this shaft to keep the nut from coming off? I might use one of these in tandem with a lockwasher of the same ID and thickness to see if it keeps it from spinning off.

You may want to try it... I don't see it harming anything. On mine, if I tighten that nut down all the way it's too tight and the gearbox binds... So I need it just off "tight". That's why I went with the double nut route.
I say try it and let us know how it works out. _________________ Chris Dierkens

The washers made things worse. Bound up the drivetrain somehow, so I took them off.
The diff wobble is due to a bent driveshaft, probably from when I had to drag the thing home with my 125, when it snapped the chain. I also discovered a loose needle bearing on the left side of the final housing that needed replacing.
So I ordered a rebuild kit for the final from buggydepot.com and after a week of waiting for it to arrive, the driveshaft they sent me is way too small in diameter. They say it's supposed to be an 18mm (with a 21mm nut that sounds right) but this shaft is more like a 13 or 14mm. Hopefully it's just a mixup.
